Abstract:cotyledons of tomato were used as explants for tissue culture on the medium with different antibiotics to study the effect of Kna (kanamycin) ,Hyg (Hygromycin) and Carb (Carbenicilin) on their callus induction. The results showed that Kna、Hyg and Carb had inhibited the differentiation of the cotyledons of tomato. With the higher concentration of the antibiotics, the callus induction rates were reduced. When Hyg concentration was 20 mg/L, there was no shoots regenerated. Compared with Hyg, the inhibition effects of Kna were not more obvious on callus differentiation, the inhibition effects of Carb were the lowest
