To raise the awareness of ideological and political education in the course of animal anatomy experiment, to explore the mode of ideological and political education, and to cultivate high-quality applied animal husbandry and veterinary talents with both ability and integrity, we used the Veterinary Medicine Program of the School of Biology and Pharmaceutical Engineering in West Anhui University as an example to integrate ideological and political education into the entire practical teaching process of Animal Anatomy Experiment, to break through the limitations of traditional teaching models, to promote the reform of experimental courses, to design reasonable ideological and political education teaching plans, and to closely integrate students'' professional skill cultivation and ideological and political quality promotion, so as to well accomplish the task of moral education and talent cultivation in universities and well analyze the effectiveness of ideological and political education in courses. Result and significance: We effectively developed a new teaching mode for talents’ moral and political education and effectively improved the quality of talent education in the Veterinary Medicine Program.
