[Objective] Based on the behavior of medical readers, we provide a reasonable medical books recommendation algorithm. [Methods] Historical records of book borrowing in the library management system of Bengbu Medical College are used to develop a user-project preference index evaluation system, and comparative experiments were conducted on a variety of present popular recommendation algorithms. [Results] The recommendation algorithm based on matrix factorization has lower root-mean-square error and better performance.
