Engineering Mechanics is a series of important major foundation courses for engineering majors, which influence the ability training of student and the study of follow-up courses. The paper makes researches on course system construction, teaching content and method optimization and examining method reform of engineering mechanics based on applied talents training. Effective and detailed measures are proposed. Teaching quality is improved effectively.
