Abstract:C Language Programming is an important course for all college students. It not only plays the role of guiding and paving the way for the study of the subsequent professional knowledge, but also the role of training students' thinking ability and comprehensive ability. Based on domestic education trends, engineering certification requirements and personnel training planning, this paper expounds some problems in the curriculum design and teaching methods of C language programming in Local Application-oriented Colleges. These problems are discussed and some solutions are proposed
