Abstract：This paper elaborates the launching practice and meteorological support in the launch of 23rd Beidou Navigation satellite (GEO-7) during the rainy season, in case of complex weather in the launch site, the favorable and unfavorable conditions are also analyzed. The results show that comprehensive analysis and application of meteorological information, timely short-term weather forecast are the key elements in rainy meteorological support
