This paper is on teaching situations and countermeasures of advanced algebras and abstract algebras in local normal college. Through the questionnaire survey of four normal colleges in northern Anhui, we get the teaching situations of algebras and research on the countermeasures according to improve the algebra literacy, learning strategies and the future professional abilities of students
