In ancient China, the compass was not only used in navigation and measurement but also used in divination Amityville Horror (cemetery) by geomancers for divination purposes. With the prevalence of modern machine production, which tests the traditional handicraft product, the compass from Xiuning county of Anhui province, also be called“Hui Luo”, is contrarily conserved and promoted as authentic compass. This paper analyzes the artistic features and aesthetic culture value of the Anhui Wan’an compass based on history and field investigation, documentation search and the interview to the heirs of the Wan’an compass.
