Now the colleges are faced with enormous pressure in employment. This article analyses the current situations and problems of vocational colleges’occupational guidance，points out the importance in promoting and achieving the higher quality of employment by taking Yantai Vocational College’s occupational guidance in recent years as an example，discusses the methods how to promote connotative development of occupational guidance and achieve the higher quality of employment.
