Abstract:Effects of spraying drought resistant of acetylsalicylic acid and EDTA at seedling stage under drought stress on seedling growth and some physiology characteristics of seedling were studied with Japonica rice Hexi 22-2. The results indicated that spraying drought resistant of acetylsalicylic acid and EDTA at seedling stage under drought stress was beneficial to promote the growth of leaves and roots, and the chlorophyll contents and thesoluble sugar content of leaf were increased, but the proline content was decreased, and explain it helps to improve the osmotic adjustment ability and water retaining capacity of leaves. The results showed that spraying drought resistant decreased significantly the MDA content and reduced the membrane damage, which was beneficial to keep crop seedling against drought. So the acetylsalicylic acid treatment was better than EDTA for promoting the drought-resistant ability of seedling of Japonica rice, and the better concentrations was 1g/L.
