In recent years, the adjustment functions and the heat production capabilities of the brown adipose tissue have always been closely concerned about, in particular, the presence of uncoupling protein in the brown adipose tissue is a hot topic in recent researches. The paper summarizes the structure of the uncoupling protein and its gene structure as well as its physiological functions.
