本文介绍了观赏水稻育种的遗传基础，日本观赏水稻育成的品种类型，近年来观赏水稻的栽培应用及部分观赏水稻品种的主要特征特性。

Abstract:

This article introduces the hereditary base of ornamental rice breeding, breeding varieties of ornamental rice in Japan, application of planting of ornamental rice and main characteristics of some varieties of ornamental rice in recent years.
