Chengdu，as Chinese first historical and cultural city，has rich and colorful history，heritage，and cultural tourism resources，at the same time as the birthplace of the Chinese peasant tourism，is also unique in rural tourism. However，how to combine the two together for co-promotion and co-development is still need to make in-depth study and exploration. This article seeks to co-ordinate the construction of urban and rural areas through the national policy role of the Chengdu urban and rural tourism development issues and raises some countermeasure.
