Biochemistry is a course that studies the chemical nature within organisms and their life processes. The subject matter encompasses profound theoretical abstractions and a multifaceted knowledge points. In teaching， stimulating students'' interest in learning is crucial for improving teaching effectiveness. This study introduces five innovative pedagogical strategies： incorporating cases from daily life， introducing stories related to biochemistry， integrating elements of Chinese traditional culture， creating rhymes， and playing experiment videos. These approaches collectively establish an engaging biochemistry classroom environment that enhances students'' comprehension and retention of course content. The implementation of these teaching strategies has sparked students'' interest in learning and improved their grades， providing valuable references for the reform of biology-related courses.
