Based on the method of literature and the questionnaire survey,combining with actual conditions in Xichang College,the reason for unfavorable employment situation of social sports major is analyzed in detail though the employment information of graduates in 2007 and current curriculum in major of social sports.The research results in the paper have shown that there still exists a gap between education and market demand of social sports major.The curriculum for major of social sports needs to be reformed and innovated.
