Abstract:Through the method of literature survey, data processing and questionnaire survey, we investigated the implementation of the new curriculum in the rural school and found that physical education teachers in rural schools were not clear on the teaching objectives; they have some misunderstanding of new curriculum; the system of teacher evaluation on students is imperfect. So we think that we should make full use of rural resources, work hard to develop school-based curriculum and national characteristics of the local courses, which can contribute to the smooth implementation of the new curriculum and to the form of students' habits of physical exercise.
