Abstract:Microbiology, as an important basic course for agriculture-related programs, has an indispensable role in the development of students’ knowledge system. But in the actual teaching process, we may meet problems like dull teaching methods and larger content with fewer class hours. In view of these problems, we try to develop a practical and student-oriented teaching mode by combining online resource preview plus offline classroom teaching plus group discussion, aiming to promote students’ comprehensive practical ability and develop their scientific research logic. We introduce the assessment and evaluation mechanism in the whole teaching process, and develop students’ abilities to raise questions, to think over and solve problems, so as to change students’ attitude from forced to learn to desire to learn. Thus we have provided feasible approaches to the education of application-oriented new agricultural talents in the new era.
