Abstract:In this paper, the SWOT method is adopted to analyze the promotion and application of "TEQBALL" table football in campus football trainings and matches, and empirical studies are conducted at Fujian Chuanzheng Communications College. The study shows that: (1) "TEQBALL" has advantages of needing smallest venues and simplest exercise forms, and are particularly suitable for people of different ages and genders; "TEQBALL" has disadvantages of being a new sport and lack of professional coaches and referees in our country, which then limit the number of participants; opportunity lies in the fact that with extensive development of campus football, forms of football sports also need to be diversified; the threats it faces are competitions from multifarious other sports items and lack of high-level contests. (2) Empirical studies show that "TEQBALL" football training added to optional campus football courses can enhance students' specialized tactical skills. It is suggested that the teaching of "TEQBALL" knowledge and skills to teenagers should be improved in an organized and planned way, so that more young students can join in table football training; in-depth technical instruction and theoretical training for football professional teachers or coaches should be enhanced, and a training and promotion system for coaches and referees should be established.
