This paper provides reviews on the inheritance of Civil Wushu from perspective of urban community governance in a frame of "Interactions among Community, Social Organization and Social Workers". The study finds that civil Wushu in urban communities passes through the stages from "native practice" to "urban art" to "cultural heritage", which reveal the inheritance characteristics of integration of daily life, social progress and public reason that derives from traditional ethics. In the urban community governance, folk Wushu is actively introduced into communities, which integrates public health education, leisure and entertainment into their daily life and enhances the vitality of urban folk Wushu communities. Our study suggests that in the community governance, folk Wushu needs to combine the social sports instructors system and the heritage protection system to improve the folk Wushu communities' social services in the development of community culture and the construction of community service platform.
