In this paper, 12 species of the genus Chrysomyxa (Uredinales, Chrysomyxaceae) are reported based on collections in China. For each species the information given includes accepted name with its basionym and synonyms appeared in China’s literature, host plants, specimens cited with HMAS serial number and collection sites，and brief taxonomic notes. A key to Chinese known species is attached.
