Abstract:The seismic performance of main building and podium structure subjected to EI Centro wave is analyzed with ANSYS finite element program through the analysis of the 18-step mode, and its natural frequency and period were obtained by the mode extraction method of subspace, and also various of models with floor thickness and shear wall thickness of the main building and podium structure dynamic characteristics influence factors. The results show that with the increasing thickness of floor by modal analysis, the structural natural frequency increases, while the structural natural frequency decreases with the increasing thickness of shear wall. Through the analysis of the instantaneous, podium building-frame shear wall structure of the top displacement were gradually increased with the increase of seismic excitation.
