The SCL-90 scale is used to investigate 14760 freshmen of a vocational college in 2011-2015. The SCL-90 scores of 14760 freshmen are different from those of ordinary college students, and the SCL-90 scores of different gender are not the same. It is believed that higher vocational colleges should establish the SCL-90 norm and gender norm, so that it is easy to carry out the mental health education of freshmen in vocational colleges.
