In view of the current teaching situation of the course of electronic product maintenance, the relevant job requirements and the current status of vocational college students, the course of electronic product maintenance must focus on the development of students’vocational abilities, based on the conception of the teacher-led instruction. The teaching mode to combine contest with teaching is put forward, with innovative teaching measures specified, which attempts to improve the cultivation of technical and skilled talents in the industry of electronic product maintenance.
