Abstract:In order to explore the correlation between social support and subjective well-being of junior high school students, 300 students from a middle school in Nanchong were investigated by using the overall well-being scale (GWB) and social support rating scale (SSRS). The results showed that the social support and subjective support were significantly positively correlated.In the sense of subjective well-being, the only child and non only child were significantly different from the non only child, andthe difference between the only child and the non only child in the social support and the subjective support were very significant
