Mining the local historical and cultural resources, constructing characteristic resources database, using modern information technology can better protect and inherit the local cultural characteristics, serve local cultural undertakings, and promote the development of local economy. Taking Shexian Ziyang academy of characteristic database construction project as the research object, the paper introduces in detail the background of construction database, the significance of the construction, contents of construction, technical scheme of construction and the application value after completion. The library will greatly promote the Huizhou culture and other local cultural exchanges, but also provide a rich resource acquisition platform to the study of Huizhou culture.
