The sampling survey of four outstanding foreign calculus textbooks includes six aspects： writing standpoint, phraseology, mathematical method, technology penetration, application and exercise. Two suggestions to local liberal arts calculus textbooks are posed that the name of theorem should be unified and the set of exercises should be targeted.
