The leveling is a basic work of measure, its accuracy is affected by many factors, and how to improve its accuracy has been explored and studied in the paper. This paper analyses the factors that affect the error of leveling. Focusing on the affecting of level subsidence due to soft ground, the author puts forward some corresponding strategies.
