In order to understand and grasp the actual situation and the influencing factors of Fuzhou’s high school students to participate in sports activities，starting from the characteristics of physical and mental development of high school students，this paper uses the method of questionnaire，interview，data statistics，literature and other methods to investigate and study Fuzhou city high school students to participate in physical education and extracurricular sports present situation. The results show that: most of the students have positive attitudes toward physical education and sports activities. But some objective reasons such as：the individual body and laziness factor， academic pressure to learn burdensome，less free time and other factors affect the enthusiasm of high school students to participate in sports activities and time.
