The cuttage forestation，compared with stock planting forestation with“three big and a deep”，has several advantages. For example，you needn’t to dig plant pits；the forestation cost is not high；it can save water and resist draught；and there is a high rate of survival，and so on. The natural condition of Zhaojue adapts to the growth of poplar extremely. In recent years，the poplar forestation covered a half more in the forestation area of Zhaojue，which played an extremely important role in the forestry development of Zhaojue. We can overcome the unfavorable factors by adopting the appropriate cuttage forestation technology to poplar. We can also promote the ecosystem county construction，and the formation of forestry industrialization with“three trees”in Zhaojue，if we use the technology in a larger area.
