By field collecting and data analysis，this paper takes Ersu Tibetan folk songs of Sichuan Province as the study object and explores their structures，contents，and artistic characteristics. The result indicated that：The majority of Ersu Tibetan folk songs are in the form of one stanza with six，seven or eight segments’for each lyric； Most of them are toasting songs，and the others are songs that can reflect the local people’s lives，including hunting songs，love songs，marriage songs etc.；Those songs are characteristic of long tones，free rhythms，natural and unrestrained messages etc.，which showcases Tibetan unique personality and style，whereas the difference is that the Ersu Tibetans are located in a cultural cross-belt of Tibetan and Yi Nationalities，thus their music style has their own characteristics.
