One strain of photosynthetic bacteria was enriched and isolated from fish pond sediment in Xichang college.This Gram-negative strain has red anaerobic culture and binary division.The morphology and physiological-biochemical characteristic of this strain showed it belongs to Rhodopseudomonas.
