5 breeds of lucerne, such as Shengshi, Youke, Puladuo, Lierenhe and Aergangjin, were introduced into Zhaojue Haogucao rangeland during the period of 2003- 2005. Comparison Test of the 5 breeds of lucerne has been done, and the results show that the yields of Shengshi and Youke are higher than others, they are fit to be planted generally in Zhaojue Haogucao rangeland or regions which have the similar weather as Zhaojue.
