By analysing space theory of city and space, this paper presents a preliminary analysis on space structure of city in Xichang, the effection of development and evolution of functional factor in city space on city space structure and the relation of development of road, business space and city space structure. By means of analysis, it provides reference of city space development and developmental model for Xichang.
