In comparison with Husang 32, the reasons for the fertility of the main mulberry varieties in Panzhihua and Xichang area has been analyzed in this paper. The survey revealed that there are significant differences between Yunsang 2 and husang 32 in the weight of leaf, the number of leaves in permeter branch and the amount of gathered mulberry leaves from every meter branch, but no marked difference in the length and diameter of their branches.
