There are many disputes about the works of Yu Dafu,and some depressed comments on them for many years.This paper takes The Autumn in Beiping for example to analyse another aspect in Yu Dafu's inner world. We can catch sight of his sticking to the noble values in a depressed state, his outstanding spirit that he did not subject to the secular surroundings, and his ardently love for the simple living conditions.
