The fundamental values of law serve as a backbone of all its values. It embodies the essence of law, the ultimate goal of law, and determines ,guides and regulates the functions of law. Although law experts at home and abroad state different values of law, the author discusses only the four fundamental values, i.e. freedom, equality, order and justice.
